>> Monday, June 22, 2009

I took it from skywalk which link between BTS station and MRT station, I was very late for my work and try to hurry in every possible way to get away from traffic jam. Not very good luck that day, but still have time to take a shot. This bridge is going to be renovate or even replace, as it was so old. I was on the boat that day, seeing Wat Arun from middle of big river, Chao Praya River, you can see big river boat which contained rice, sand or some heavy material. These river boat doesn't have engine itself, but they were dragged by small engine boat in front of them.
I got beautiful postcards of War Arun as you can see here too.

Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is one of Bangkok's best know landmark. It stands on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River in Thon Buri. Wat Arun is best seen from the opposite bank of the river; it glistens in the sunlight during the day and stands dark and noble at dawn or dusk.

Tropical Fruits in the season

Delivery fresh fruits selling, you can see these fruits sellers in many areas of Bangkok, mostly nearby the condominium or community where no fresh market around. They give deliver service for city people who has no chance to go to market (like me).

There are full of fruits in season especially tropical fruits. Now I'm enjoying Lychee, Rambutan, Mangosteen and here we are! King of Fruits, Durian.

It is taste like heaven, but smell from hell. I heard that it is prohibited to take it Singapore, and surely not allow to carry it on any Air Conditioned bus, airplane, hotel. Have you ever tried it once?
